NDV - Algoriddmic EP

One of the main goals I set for this blog when I launched it not too long ago was, besides writing about great new music, to support the local Tel Aviv and Israeli electronic scene, or at least the stuff I enjoy that’s being released here.
In that field, for the last year or so, Botanika records have been The main source to turn to, releasing nothing but consistent quality from some very talented local producers. It gives me great joy to see this young label grow, knowing that one of the most promising and interesting labels worldwide right now is run from my own home town (and even better, by my friends).
And that brings us to this brand new EP released this week, by the label’s co-founder NDV aka Nadav Ravid, celebrating Botanika’s 10th release so far, which sees both NDV and Botanika at their best. Algoriddmic is the follow up to NDV’s previous Logariddmic EP, and like it’s predecessor it features bass heavy bangers on a Funky vibe, with a light to medium carribean and tribal flavours to them. These are powerful tunes, yet definitely not too much in your face, showing a lot of musicality, high production values and hitting it off on quite a positive vibe.
NDV is in top form here, and this EP deserves to find itself in rotation alongside the biggest names in this game. BIG Up!
You can cop it over at the Botanika shop for VERY cheap, and on all the other spots too.
